Description

I have been thinking about my Smash Bros. Wish lists lately and deciding whether or not I should continue making them, well I am running out of ideas but I'm still thinking about it. But while I think about it, I should make a different kind of Internet meme, there are plenty of people who have this idea in their minds but very few have actually put it online (video or picture), this is my version of that category, and that is Games I want to be made.

I'm not just talking about games that everybody wants, I'm talking about games that I personally love or believed they had potential, and no I'm not including games like the next Super Smash Bros. Since we know it is being made, this is a meme of games that nobody announced and might never exist but should. And I hope you like these choices and give these ideas some support, and comment below if you have any ideas for any of these would-be titles.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Sequel for Nintendo Switch

I've been a huge Zelda fan ever since Ocarina of Time came out, so it made sense that I got hyped for its sequel Majora's Mask, and judging by the pictures I saw in the Nintendo Power magazines at the time, the game looked so odd it's cool. and when I did get Majora's Mask, it became my all-time favorite Zelda game I loved the weird world the game had, I loved how scary it was, I loved the logic, I loved the side quests, I loved the characters, I loved the dungeons, I loved the fact that you can change into one of three or four different playable characters and most of all, I loved the new enemies!

And even though a lot of Zelda games came out afterwards, they still did not have the same feel as Majora's Mask, even Skyward Sword (the latest Zelda Game) didn't replace Majora's Mask as my favorite, but it was a close second! So I thought what if we brought Majora's Mask back with a vengeance, like what if the Happy Mask Salesman was wrong at the end of the first game when he said the “evil of the mask has left?” And besides, there were some moments that were left unanswered, like how is the Happy Mask salesman connected to Majora's Mask, where is Navi, what was the tribe that created the cursed mask, and what was the origin of the mask? Those are questions I would love to know the answer to, and plus I would love to see the twilight princess look return since it's difficult to imagine an HD sequel to Majora's Mask without having a gothic art style.

I would also love to see us have the option to choose what Controller we should use, like it can be the Wii U Controller or the Wii Remote with Wii Motion Plus and have the optional left hand/ right hand control option. And I would love to see the mask mechanic return, and some new masks might be nice too including new transformations like the Garo Mask from the first game becomes possessed and Link himself becomes a Garo so he can have Ninja-like abilities. And some new mechanics might get a warm welcome, like one idea I have is to have the Hookshot be upgraded to the Clawshots so it can grab as well as stab, I know that doesn't sound new but that was not the feature I was going for, the feature I was going for is the Clawshots can grab Bombs and Bomb Flowers and have Link swing them across the room (kind of like the Ball and Chain if it were more explosive).

I would like to see the Transformations have their own stead, like Goron Link should have this powerful Dinosaur-like creature to ram at foes, I would like to see Zora Link ride on some sort of Eel and do some cool airborne breaches, and Deku Link should have this carnivorous insect to help him climb up walls, and Garo Link should have a giant eagle to fly through sky-based areas (similar to the Loftwing in Skyward Sword) and yes the sword-on-horseback would make an excellent return to the series!

2. Conker 2 For XBOX One/Series X and PC

Yes, everybody wants this sequel to be made, the first game was controversial but also hilarious, it's jokes were so unforgettable you could argue that it was the funniest video game ever created, and the game itself has become a Cult Classic! SO WHY THE HELL DID THEY CANCEL THE SECOND GAME??? I heard what the premise was, and it sounds awesome, Conker had the duties to govern the land as king but all he did was spend all his money on beer and hookers, and as a result gets arrested (ball and chain attached) so Conker has to break out of jail before he gets executed! That is a freaking awesome premise, why did they can such an awesome idea!?

Oh well, regardless we are still begging for the sequel to be realized, and have some memorable levels, tie loose ends from the first game (for example: Avenging Berri by hunting down her killer), and let us not forget to spoof classic films including The Dark Knight, The Thing, Aliens, The Godfather, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Inglourious Basterds, Kill Bill, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and maybe some famous internet videos like Dramatic Chipmunk, Nyan cat, Darth Vader being a Smartass, the Annoying Orange, Manamanah, and maybe Nostalgia Critic God that's a lot of references! One of the main controversies about the remake was the fact that they censored almost every swear word in the game, so my advice: Make the swearing in the sequel completely uncensored!

3. An RPG made by Rare for XBOX One/Series X and PC

After Rare was sold to Microsoft, they started trying out different genres for their games, Grabbed by the Ghoulies (which I personally find underrated) was trying out the beat-em-up mechanic, Kameo was using a similar mechanic to The Legend of Zelda, and Viva Piñata was going for a Sims style strategy mechanic. So I thought Rare should try a turn-based RPG, but I thought it needs some sort of concept to take place on, like Grabbed by the Ghoulies had a Haunted House concept, Kameo had a Fantasy concept, Viva Piñata had well... Piñatas, so maybe the concept should take place beyond the boundaries of our Solar system, that's right, the concept of this RPG should involve aliens! Some of the aliens might look similar to anthropomorphic animals while others look original (but not too freaky).

So far the only kind of story I can think of for this RPG is some sort of revenge story, for the main character has experienced a horrific catastrophe as he saw his home planet completely destroyed with his little brother still on it, and he would not let anything stand in his way from having his revenge. Basic I know, but I was wondering if it is possible to make the story effective (as RPGs usually are) and the RPG mechanic should be similar to RPGs of the past but have some cool new things attached, like each playable character has a protective shield gauge to restrict damage until their gauge is depleted, similar to Lost Odyssey, but not for just the row and not just one gauge, but RPGs can't be without cool attacks and well balanced stats and classes, I just know that Rare has been trying several different genres, so why not an RPG?

4. Bumper the Badger's own game for XBOX One/Series X and PC

Never heard of Bumper the Badger? Well that's no surprise SINCE HE HAS ONLY BEEN IN ONE FREAKING GAME!!!!! Okay he may have been in two, but the second one was a remake, so that counts as one game in my opinion. The reason I think he deserves his own video game is because if Banjo and Conker got their own games, why not Bumper? Plus we would get to know the character better, and we won’t have to complain about those controversial Kinect Sports titles overthrowing our chances of trying new series and sequels.

My idea for the gameplay of the game would be similar to Brutal Legend, where it's part action game and part strategy game, but unlike Brutal Legend or any other strategy game, you can make what your buildings and vehicles should look like, yes this is somewhat of a sequel to Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but you can make buildings as well as vehicles, but you can change the size of your construction pieces, and this time you won’t have to go on a scavenger hunt for crates when you can just pick up the crates as if they were your currency as you go through levels, and yes you are going to have to actually play the game before going to any strategy-based levels, and before you do play through strategy levels, you build buildings and decide what their defenses should be like if some of those buildings should have shields and/or turrets and what vehicles spawn out, and on those strategy-based levels Bumper should be wearing a jet-pack so he could fly through the stage and give commands to his army to protect buildings, the main garage, and/or attacking the enemies buildings and garage.

The premise I can think of for this game is Bumper enjoys his job as a mechanic, and he doubts his life could get any better, but he is then greeted by L.O.G. (Lord of Games) who you may remember from Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts since this is a sequel to that game, and L.O.G. Says his world is in peril and L.O.G. Is growing weak because one of his most hated enemies has stolen his magic cape so he can gain its powers, and Bumper is his chosen hero since Banjo and Kazooie are already being busy being booked for their next game. And with the Action-based levels, Bumper equips new weapons and armor so he would have something to prepare for in a fight. Rare needs at least one more character from Diddy Kong Racing to have his own game, and that should be Bumper!

5. Sonic '06 Remake for XBOX One/Series X, Playstation 4/5, and Nintendo Switch

Sonic '06 was made to celebrate Sonic's 15th Anniversary and people got hyped because since this was Sonic's first XBOX 360/Playstation 3 release, that also meant cinematic-esk graphics. But when it was released, it got bashed by critics and gamers alike due to choppy controls, an undeveloped story, and the most hated thing of all... a romance between a human princess and a anthropomorphic blue hedgehog, in Beauty and the Beast and The Muppets it worked, but here it's just creepy, and the humans (including Dr. Eggman) looked too life-like, and if you mix a world were realistic looking 3D human models live among cartoonish looking anthropomorphic animals, then that's not a good sign!

One thing people liked about the game though was Mephiles The Dark, he could turn into shadows, he couldn't die, he had a disturbingly awesome theme (Boss themes included), he was arguably the best Sonic Villain since Metal Sonic, I would love to see him in future games! I also liked the option to play as three different Hedgehogs including a new character named Silver the Hedgehog who was trying to rewrite the future and was out on a mission to slay Sonic who he believes was the cause of the world's fate, I don't know why people hate this guy, I thought he was kind of awesome, he could perform Psychokinesis, he looked cool, and he was very determined, the only downside I found in the guy is that he was sort of slow, I mean he has psychic powers and yet he can't use them to make him go faster, I would say that he would've been kind of a Dick for not letting Sonic save Elise, but Elise is so bland that I would say Silver was doing us a favor.

So all in all, the only things I dig in this game were the new characters except for Elise for obvious reasons. So if I don't like this game, then why is this on my wish list, well that's because I am one of those people who believes in the term “If at first you don't succeed, try try again.” And it's because of this game that Sega started making Sonic Unleashed, and the Speed-run mechanic on Sonic Unleashed became so successful that they brought it back in Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations, but Sonic Generations referenced Sonic '06 which kind of bothers me because it reminds us of the humiliation we've been put through, but at least it showed us how Crisis City should have been, and Silver the Hedgehog can use his Psychokinesis to keep up with Sonic.

My advice is to redo Sonic '06 by giving it a Sonic Unleashed-style makeover, make Elise an Anthropomorphic character so the romance (while still bland) will be more tolerable, and further develop the story, like for example it would have been nice to have Silver hunt down Mephiles knowing the fact that he played him for a fool, and the story would make much more sense if it explains the reason why Blaze the Cat is from the Future instead of an alternate dimension. So all in all, I still believe that this game could have a turn for the better if Sega tried to remake this game instead of just trying to make Other Sonic games. I mean if Marvel can remake Captain America and make it good, then why not Sega for Sonic '06!

6. Star Fox Sequel for Nintendo Switch

Even though I never finished the N64 game, I loved the Star Fox series. I even played Star Fox Adventures a couple of times, and I didn't think it was half bad, and when Star Fox: Assault came out, it became my favorite of the series because it had a great orchestra, great voice acting, and the most shocking plot to have ever come from a Star Fox game. There was a Star Fox game that came out for the DS not too long after Star Fox: Assault but to be honest Star Fox Command was my least favorite of the series, it had a plot that was way too familiar, and the multiple endings have continuity problems meaning that I don't consider the game cannon at all. And I didn't really like the antagonist of the game, he just made it seem like the creators were being lazy when it comes to making original villains, I mean an Angler fish called Angler, Really!? This is why I liked Star Fox: Assault because the Aparoids were great villains, they were very threatening, they were a force to be reckoned with, and they looked freaking awesome!

I always called the Aparoids the most dangerous adversaries Star Fox had ever faced! But even after the Wii came out, there were no signs of a Star Fox game in production, which is kind of a missed opportunity if you ask me because using the Wii Remote to aim would have worked. But they recently released a remake of Star Fox 64 for the Nintendo 3DS and I quite enjoyed it, but I'd like to see them come back for the Switch and use the Joy-Con controllers for motion control to make it like the Wii version we never got.

As for the plot, well it might not be as big as the Aparoid fleet, but a hell of a lot better than the Angler army. My Idea for the plot is that the game starts off with a wedding and as Corneria celebrates their weddings, they just say their vows before touching Corneria's holy artifact called the Miracle Heart, but the wedding gets interrupted and invaded by a terrorist named Zane who wants to steal the Miracle Heart and use its power rumored to revive the dead so he can revive the Lylat System's most dangerous armies (including the Aparoids) and conquer the galaxy! But the couple turns out to be Fox and Krystal and they refuse to let Zane have his way, so they have to reunite the entire Star Fox team to save the Lylat System once more!

That's my premise for the next Star Fox game, the Joy-Con's use of motion control would be helpful, and I know people complain about the ground levels in Assault, but this sequel should have ground levels, but don't worry I think one smart move to make for this is to have a gameplay mechanic similar to Vanquish and we might get the first Star Fox game to be praised for its ground levels.

7. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Spinoff for Nintendo Switch

I read a comment on IGN the other day, and someone said “They should make a Zelda game that takes place during Ocarina of Time where you play as Sheik, so you would know what Zelda was doing and know her side of the Ocarina of Time Story.” I thought that was a clever idea, and it should be made into a reality.

8. Blue Dragon sequel for XBOX One/Series X

Yeah so I like Blue Dragon you got a problem with that!? The story had plot holes, and the characters are a bit over the top half of the time, but I personally love the game regardless! The thing I liked above all else though has to be the Final Boss, it started off being pretty challenging, but then there was a twist that one of your own was a double agent, but she only worked for the villain so she could be rid of his power, but when she tossed that power away the villain's pet takes the power for himself and transforms into a massive beast, the same beast that destroyed the ancient civilization, when I saw this IT BLEW MY FREAKING MIND!!!!!

I thought the Final Boss (while being a tad easy) looked freaking awesome, he wasn't a dragon, he wasn't a god or any of the other things you would see in a Final Boss in RPGs, no this was a Bio-weapon, and it looked very alien-like (talk about unique). And he had one of the greatest Final Boss themes I have ever heard! When they finished him off however, I refused to believe that he is gone for good, sure he fell in lava, but video games and movies have made loop-holes in the past and are still making more even as we speak, and besides we should get to know the creature's back-story.

I know there were games for the Nintendo DS that take place after the first game, but their gameplay seems far too different and I have yet to play them, but even after I play them I still wouldn't consider them cannon and the stories seemed to be fit for fan-fictions. All we need is a sequel that develops the characters further and has a serious and blooming storyline, and we got a classic sequel to a highly underrated game!

9. Mario and Sonic for Nintendo Switch

We all wanted to have a game that had Mario and Sonic duke it out, so Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games was born, but it was a critical disappointment, but despite that it sold millions of copies so a couple of sequels were made due to the financial success of the first game, but now gamers have grown tired of Mario and Sonic competing at the Olympics, and the closest thing they got to truly have them duke it out was Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but that's not enough.

It comes to my understanding that we get an official Mario and Sonic game, one that's not made for mini-games. My idea for this kind of game is Sonic and Mario somehow got traded between dimensions, so they must find ways to get back to their own lands, it would be like the Jimmy/Timmy Power hour from Nickelodeon in video game form, and the Sonic levels would have Mario stages revamped for the Sonic Unleashed Style gameplay, and the Mario Levels would have Sonic Stages revamped to look like levels you would see in Super Mario 3D land.

It would be like Sonic Generations, but instead of teaming up with your younger self and play in a classic style, this would have you play through stages of two different game series, I think it would be cool to see Sonic fight against Bowser as a Boss, and have Mario have his fair share against Dr. Eggman. Just don't make them go through the Olympics and this game should turn out fine.

10. Shadow the Hedgehog 2 for XBOX One/Series X, Playstation 4/5, and Nintendo Switch

Yes, I like Shadow the Hedgehog, it's not that great of a game, but it's better than the critics say it is. Sure it has no targeting, the swearing was not fitting for the E10+ Rating, the vehicles were pointless, the guns while fun were a bit too much, the boss fights were repetitive, the change of the voice cast made a turn for the worse, and most of the multiple endings were crappy, but the controls worked nice, the choosing your own path feature was a clever take on the Sonic series, and the Villain even though he didn't have a great motive he was still a cool character (I guess it was his demonic voice I don't know).

So I didn't think Shadow the Hedgehog was that bad, besides it was nice to see a Sonic character get his own spin-off. So I thought maybe this game was good enough for a sequel (if not a remake first), and my take on this game would be that Shadow rescues a blonde hedgehog girl who has fragments of her memory missing except for “Shadow the Hedgehog”, so Shadow decides to help her regain her memories so she can tell him how she know him, but there is a creature (who turns out to be the Biolizard reincarnated because he discovered the ability to reconstruct his cells before the battle at the Ark) who is after the girl so he could unlock the secrets to her memory and use them for his evil purpose.

One thing I would like to add in the story is how would the G.U.N. Commander react when he knows the truth about Maria's fate, since a Soldier from G.U.N. was the one who shot Maria Robotnik 50 years ago and yet he worked as a G.U.N. commander today just because he blamed Shadow at first, If he found out that he was working as someone he should've been hating, that might make a good plot point. That would be my idea for the premise of Shadow the Hedgehog 2, but what about the gameplay?

Well, the Sonic adventure style gameplay went downhill after Sonic '06 so that mechanic's not going to be used again anytime soon, but I wondered if it was possible to have Shadow play somewhat similar to Sonic Unleashed, but my theory wasn't realized until Sonic Generations, when I fought against Shadow, I considered that one of the best mini-boss fights in gaming history, and I saw what his gameplay would be like in a Sonic Unleashed style gameplay mechanic and it looked awesome! So give Shadow the Hedgehog 2 Sonic Unleashed type gameplay, have Shadow collect small orbs to fill his two power gauges (one for Chaos Control, and one for Chaos Blast) and you got yourself one cool sequel to another underrated game!

all ten of those games are never going to happen
